Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States and the only chief executive to be elected to more than two terms in office. Roosevelt was president from 1934-1945, he led the US through the Great Depression and World War II. Under Roosevelt's leadership, the nation rebounded from the surprise attack at Pearl Harbor , nearly achieving victory in both Europe and the Pacific by the time Roosevelt died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 12,1945. Franklin Roosevelt served as president of the United States for all but four months of World War II He was succeeded by his vice president, Harry S. Truman., leading the country through some of the roughest times it had ever faced.
Winston Churchill.
Winston Churchill served as the prime minister of Great Britain from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. Churchill gave many speeches that helped encourage the people during the war. He led Britain's fight against Nazi Germany in World War II. January 1943, Churchill met with President Franklin D. Roosevelt in Casablanca, Morocco to plan attacks on all war fronts, to invade Sicily and Italy, to send forces to the Pacific, and to better aid the Soviet Union.

Joseph Stalin.
Joseph Stalin served as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union's Central Committee from 1922 until he died in 1953. After several years into WWII Stalin realized he would need help so he requested to join the allied powers. Stalin knew that without help Germany would win.
Harry S. Truman.
Upon FDRs sudden death Truman became president and the Commander in Chief of the United States military with only a high school education and just 82 days in office.Truman became president in the harsh circumstances of leading the United States through the end of WWII and the Cold War. Under Trumans command the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, which effectively ended the war.
Adolph Hitler.
Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi Party, commanding German forces throughout World War II. Hitler who was a fanatic nationalist, militarist, racist, and anti-Semite, became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. Hitler's forces invaded Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg, and defeated France within the first year of war. Ultimately Nazi Germany would fell to Allied forces, surrendering on 2 May 1945, one day after Adolf Hitler's suicide.

Benito Mussolini.
In May 1938, Mussolini promised to fight on Adolf Hitler's side in any war against the democracies of the world. However, Mussolini's army wasn't led well and were little prepared for war, because of this they were defeated quickly by Allied forces. The Italian resistance and his dictatorship led to his fall from power and to his death. Mussolini was overthrown in 1943, and in April 1945, Italian insurgents captured Mussolini, murdered him, and mutilated his body, which is really sad for a man who considered himself to be the savior of the Italian nation.

Hidek Tojo was the leader of japan for WWII. Tojo ,along with Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, represented the axis powers however, he wasn't a dictator like is allies. Tojo was responsible for Japans susses during the early part of WWII.
Dwight Eisenhower.
Dwight D. Eisenhower , was the 34th President of the United States, he served two terms from 1953 to 1961. Prior to his presidency, Eisenhower was a lifelong military man, commanding the D-Day invasion while serving as Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during World War II. In the winter of 1942, General Eisenhower led U.S. troops to defeat Axis forces in North Africa. Eisenhower also prepared U.S. military forces in England for the D-Day invasion of German.
George C. Marshall.
George C. Marshall was one of the most decorated military leaders in American history. Marshall was responsible for exponentially increasing the size of the U.S. Army, and he helped devise Operation Overlord in 1944. After the war, he came out of retirement to serve as President Harry Truman’s secretary of state.
Douglas MacArthur.
Douglas MacArthur was an American general who commanded the Southwest Pacific in World War II, he led the United Nations forces in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. During World War II, he returned to liberate the Philippines in 1944 after it had fallen to the Japanese. MacArthur led United Nations forces during the start of the Korean War, but later clashed with President Harry Truman over war policy and was removed from command.
